At Head Injury Rehabilitation & Referral Services, Inc. (HIRRS), we want to attract individuals who are committed to providing outstanding client care. Employment applications must be filled out at the HIRRS office. In addition to the employment application, applicants must complete a reading and math aptitude test.

Hours for Accepting Applications

  • 9:00 am - 12:00 pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
  • 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,and Thursday

HIRRS is currently recruiting Residential Counselors.
Residential Counselors provide around the clock direct care support services and assist clients in developing independent living skills, mobility skills, and the ability to access community resources.

It is preferred that applicants for the Residential Counselor position have at least one year's experience working with individuals with disabilities. Entry-level candidates who demonstrate the aptitude and potential to complete job tasks with the training provided by HIRRS will be considered for the position.
